Julieanne Eason, video artist from New Zealand currently living in Barcelona.
After graduating from The Canterbury University School of Fine Arts with majors in film and theatre, I became part of the interdisciplinary performance company named 'the clinic.' In the role of video and art designer, I have produced a number of moving image works for performance, resulting in successful multi-media performances of national acclaim. Having being awarded a DAAD scholarship, I have just completed one year of post-graduate studies in experimental media at the Universitat der Kunst (University of Arts) in Berlin, where I became interested in sensor activated video installation. The desire to stay in Europe for some time longer has led me to Spain, where I have been living since November 2004. I am now working as an artist in Barcelona.
