Marie-France Giraudon and Emmanuel Avenel, multimedia artists, create together videos and installations since 1985. Their video TRANS(E) BLEU was shown all around the world and awarded in Europe and America. They were invited by the 20th World Wide Video Festival of Amsterdam to exhibit and screen several works. TRANS(E) BLEU was selected among the 20 years of programms of World Wide to be included in an itinerary programm to represent this Festival.

A circumpolar navigation between reality and illusion, the lived and the imaginary, becomes a strange odyssey in the wonderful world of mirages, in search of something beyond boundaries, horizons, infinity. This mythic journey reorients satellite imagery, radar telemetry and cartography into geographical incoherence and disruptions of the machinery. Here the perception of reality gives way to pure illusion.
