Éamon Little was born in 1966 in Limerick and studied Industrial Design and Applied Mathematics and spent some years teaching before working in film. His first film quickfix (1996, 20mins, 16mm colour) is a black comedy about love, death and practical problem-solving, set in contemporary rural Ireland. It was screened at all the major film festivals in Ireland in 96/97 (winner 'best original screenplay' at Limerick Irish Film Festival 1997) as well as being selected for the 'Shots in the Dark - Crime and Mystery Festival' in Nottingham and the Welsh International Film Festival in Aberystwyth. It was broadcast on RTE in June '97 as part of their 'Debut' series of short films.
