Serbia →Live search( total items: 15 ) packed into few momentsA narrative about physical and psychological contact with space. Like LynchAs an author, I feel an uncanny affinity to David Lynch. I featured everyday situations, streets, walkways, buildings, the house where I live, in a way I would describe as 'Lynch-like outlook'. I believe that Lynch personified the spirit and powers of the psyche through his characters, evoked at the end of the film. I was inspired by a different point of view- disguised, invisible, mysterious in the mundane and 'familiar'. endgameAccording to Buddhism, a personality is a unity of random elements held together merely by weak life forces. Their natural tendency is to return to the original multitude. It seems that the contemporary theory of games of chance and lottery function in much the same way: the number of combinations and permutations of characters in a name is measured by hundreds of thousands. The observer is responsible to bring in some sense to it all; their eyes instinctively skimming over (potent) amassing of characters and stopping at (seemingly) logical and readable combinations of characters. In another words, they do away with lines of possible sense, holding on to combinations that can readily be read from left to right. I will surviveVideo loop showing a man (the author) lying with barely open eyes and mouth that opens and closes slowly (as if they were mumbling something) is projected on the bed. Still, there is no sound in the video. The only thing possible to hear is the radio song that repeats over and over again. It is the greatest disco hit of Gloria Gaynor ‘I will survive’ (...you know I'll stay alive...). The atmospere of complete isolation (inherent to the act of dying) is being additionaly enforced by disco melodies coming from the radio. On the other hand, lyrics and songs, usually treated as trivial, when placed in the terminal context, get a completely new, some would say, religious notion. Yellow DrumsThe sound and movement give me the sense of happiness and accomplishment. Streaming lines accentuate movement which beats in rhythm with the sound of drums. The sound of drums in quick rhythm tends to pick up, suggestive of a torrent of energy going on, throbbing, expanding... WhiteA dress 3D animation (free of body) and a still of morning shadow alternate. The sound of fire is in the background. Multiflex (Book one)Let’s keep the details about how we worked and in what conditions a secret for now. Final Shot-Final CutThe book Koreni (Roots) by Serbian writter Dobrica Ćosić (more copies) is made firm on the wall of the Galery in front of a black carpet, in the circle of white light. Got up earlyOur mind is full of both conscious and unconscious information which are constantly filling the space of our brains where they rest permanently noted. Inside they change the nature of present information and also affect the future. Path of ThoughtsIn art world there are many different paths. Everyone of us has a little ‘guide’ inside him which tells him where to and when to. We are all trying to recognize these little things inside ourselves and bring them down if they are bad or bring them up if they are positive, but sometimes they just don't allow us to manipulate with them. This video illustrates some of the little things inside of a human mind. Beskonačno oživljavanjeThis video is based on an online war video game, which, among other things, differs from reality because the warriors are able to 'respawn', get a new life after being killed. Players merely have to press the 'F' key in order to respawn and continue the game. Therefore, this video is a metaphoric comparison between the virtual world of video games and the real world. Joint ManeuversAn exciting story about the joint practice of armoured beings on an unknown terrain somewhere in the mountainous Balkans… Get Those BastardsChildren’s toys, war toys, Olympic games, and electric chair. Quite serious games, aren’t they? Nothing but NetI fell in love with the sound of the net jiggling as the ball went through. (Pee Wee Kirkland, streetball legend) |
